Coronavirus (COVID-19) & Business Continuity

As a result of the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), Kingsmoor Packaging has conducted a full review of its procedures and business approach to minimise risk and is committed to providing both a safe working environment for our employees, whilst ensuring business continuity for all our customers.

We have established a senior team to continuously monitor the spread of the virus in the UK. This team is discussing the outbreak daily and our policies and procedures are being reviewed accordingly to deal with the dynamic nature of the situation.

Despite the restrictions currently in place around the world we would like to assure you of our continued support and service. We can confirm that our teams are capable of performing their various job responsibilities with no drop in productivity or service quality and without interruption.

Like any business, we are resolute in ensuring that our business continuity plans are robust and fully optimised, even if that means fully re-aligning our manufactured output to meet customers’ changing requirements. By having the benefit of full in-house end-to-end production, with design, pattern, tool making and production all under one roof, this means that we can react very quickly to shift in retailer needs.  Whether that’s offering lightweight packaging to help protect and increase shelf-life, or helping to supply products that are in high demand at the moment due to the current situation, with panic buying and consumers looking for more staple food options.

As a leading thermoformer, our production is geared to the manufacture of plastic packaging solutions, primarily for the food industry; however, given the current circumstances, we can and do operate in a range of non-food related sectors, which at this time could also help with the health care sector or any other sectors where the demand for plastic is required.

Please also note that in supporting the continuity of your business, our talented engineers and technical personnel are able to design and provide a speedy turnaround on tooling to make anything in plastic if required - talk to us on 01458 273001 or email us and let us know what you need.

KPL is totally committed to helping its customers get through this and we will do whatever it takes to keep supplying the food industry with packaging throughout these difficult times

Wishing you the best of health,

James Hill
