THERMOFORMING TOOL SETTER
Based in Somerton in Somerset, this full-time role is a great opportunity to become part of our highly motivated friendly team.
Experience required:
- Tool changing/setting machines (experience with TFT’s would be an advantage but not essential)
- Changing inserts in tools
- Diagnosing machine problems and carrying out fault finding/trouble shooting and repair
- Experience with servicing thermoforming machines (experience with TFT’s would be an advantage but not essential)
- Servicing tools
- Minor repairs to tooling
- Ensuring that all machines are running efficiently, to the correct speeds and that the product is being made to the customer specification
- Working to production plans
The following skills would be an advantage but are not essential:
- Engineering or electrical background
- Pneumatic fault finding and repair
- Electrical fault finding and repair
- Welding
