Our in-house design and tooling facilities allow us to react quickly and innovatively to sector demands. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Kingsmoor developed a CE-certified, single-use thermoformed face visor, offering high clarity, full face coverage and compatibility with glasses and standard face masks (P1, P2, P3).

The lightweight, cost-effective design became a vital part of PPE across NHS facilities, care homes and commercial businesses.

Since then, our healthcare capabilities have expanded to include:

• Pill organiser boxes
• Custom packaging solutions for medical components

All solutions are produced in our UK-based facility using 100% renewable energy 50% of which comes from onsite solar, as part of our Forming A Better Future strategy.

Challenge: Respond quickly to the urgent need for PPE during the Covid-19 pandemic with a product that is clear, safe, comfortable, and scalable.

Solution: Kingsmoor designed a one-piece, CE-certified face visor using recycled rPET. It featured high clarity, easy fit over glasses or masks, and was cost-effective for mass production.

Results: We quickly delivered thousands of visors to frontline workers across the UK. Post-pandemic, we continue to develop healthcare packaging that is functional, hygienic and recyclable.
